Milawa White began it’s life as a happy accident – essentially a Gorgonzola that did not develops veins. Exhibiting sweeter notes than our blue, this (typically) six-month aged frankencheese is creamy and almost spreadable at room temperature. When heated it unleashes denser more savoury flavours and absolutely shines in a cheese toastie or as a melted cheese sauce.
Our easiest cheese to make but hardest to perfect, much like a bottle-fermented champagne – with which our White shares yeasty notes and pairs deliciously!
